Directions: Our nursery is situated between Exeter and Plymouth. Turn off the A38 Devon Expressway onto to A382 to Newton Abbot. Then follow signs for Orchid Paradise at Forches Cross.
Open: Daily 10.00 to 4.00 (closed winter bank holidays).
Details: The nursery is run by the Rittershausen family and so is a result of over 50 years growing experience with 20 Chelsea Gold Medals. A very wide range of popular and rare orchids are available for sale. The display house 'Orchid Paradise' is an ever-changing show of unusual orchids from around the world. Many major and smaller orchid events are attended around the British Isles.

Details of nursery: We have a seedling and meristem raising laboratory specialising in orchid species from South America, Papua New Guinea and Madagascar. Paphiopedilum species also a speciality. Dr. Warren organises and leads orchid study trips to Brazil and produces a newsletter of general orchid interest. An increasing number of established seedlings are being produced.

Details: Laneside is run by Jeff Hutchings and offers a wide range of terrestrial hardy orchids: including, anacamptis, bletillas, calanthe, cypripediums, dactylorhiza, orchis, ophrys and pleiones plus other rarer genus and species. Directions: Leave the M62 at junction 25 and head towards Brighouse, then follow signs for Elland. This road skirts Brighouse town centre. Immediately after a severe left hand bend look for a sign for Southowram – right hand turn up a steep hill, upon reaching the road junction in the village take the second right hand into Pinnar Lane. Pennine House is situated 50 yards along on the right. Look for a narrow entrance in the high turreted stone wall.

Details: Plested Orchids was established in 1988. Details: Royden Orchids house a very wide range of mainly South American species in just under 2000 sq ft of glasshouses. We have an especial interest in the Pleurothallidinae, and have comprehensive collections of Masdevallias and Draculas.
