We are also sole UK suppliers for Botanicoir™ chipped coconut husk the super new growing media that is catching on fast!

We like to pride ourselves as being very beginner friendly whilst having the expertise to help the more experienced grower. We sell mainly by mail order, at shows and events but if you need to pickup an order then please telephone to make arrangements. If you haven’t already please visit our website which is fairly extensive with lots of orchid information as well as a list of products. A list of events that I shall be attending is also available.

Shows/ Lectures: Ray is more than happy to attend societies around the country presenting talks on a variety of orchid related subjects. Open: Mail order and shows only. We are no longer open to the public.

Details: Royden Orchids house a wide range of mainly South and Central American species. We have an especial interest in the Pleurothalidina and maintain comprehensive stocks of the main genera in this group.
Our collection of masdevallias (450 + species) and Draculas (over 100 species) now rank with the worlds largest. We no longer grow Cymbidiums in any quantity.

Lists: Not available. The very diverse nature of our stock associated with the low numbers we keep of most species make the issuing and maintaining of lists just about impossible. High on our list of future priorities is a website on which we hope to keep updated lists of the plants grown here, together with prices for available stock. We act as agents for Ecuagenera CIA ltda. New listings (14 pages, 1200+ species) are published each October. For your copy send us your e-mail address or sae C5 or larger.

Shows: We are pleased to support Society shows on invitation.

Lectures: We are pleased to give illustrated lectures based on our travels in South America.
